Tools
The Tools family contains utility nodes that operate on frame buffers and provide advanced capabilities beyond standard rendering. These nodes work at the frame level rather than the shape level, enabling operations like feedback loops, temporal blending, and frame analysis.
While Effects modify the appearance of individual figures, Tools interact with the rendered output as a whole—accessing previous frames, extracting data from pixels, or performing operations that span multiple render cycles.
Future additions to this family may include nodes for motion vector extraction, pixel-to-data conversion, and other frame-level utilities.
